An award winning Native American Flute player, Gareth is of Mi'kmaq/Cree descent. Remarkably talented well beyond his 18 years, Gareth has been touching lives and moving souls by tugging at heartstrings of many all over the world. Gareth wrote his debut album, "The Journey", with the help of GRAMMY nominated songwriter and Dove Award producer, Robert White Johnson. The album was released in July of 2013, and in 2014 he received the Rising Star Award, was a two-time NAMMY Award nominee, and a four-time Indian Summer Music Award nominee.
Nashville rising start, Stephanie originally hails from Minnesota.
Stephanie grew up working on her family's ranch while developing her consummate country western style.
After arriving in Nashville, she wasted no time establishing her roots in the country music scene by fronting the house band at the famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. Despite distance between Nashville and Minnesota, Stephanie's songwriting never suffered anything that resembled identity crisis. Instead, her writing prowess shined through her debut album that maintained never being too proud to appreciate God's sense of humor, and always finding purpose in His ability to make something out of nothing.
MIKE & DORIS MERRITT
Mike & Doris will lead our Cowboy Church on Sunday morning and share their music throughout the weekend.
In 2015 they were named the International Country Gospel Music Association Duo of the Year and in 2016 Doris was named the Female Vocalist of the Year.
Doris is a native of Nashville and a member of the country group the Girls Next Door. Mike is a former Texas Cowboy and member of an Award winning Texas band.
They now reside in Hugo OK and serve through their Merritt Cowboy Ministries.
Leah is a multi talented young lady and is a member of The Sawyer Family Band.
The Fiddle and Vocals are her strong suite, so much so that she is in high demand to perform with other artist.
Leah has won numerous fiddle competitions across the west.
Anyone familiar with the top trail riding show on RFD TV will surely be familiar with Del’s career as the featured entertainer and Co-Host on the weekly TV show Best of America by Horseback.
Four albums make up the list of recordings Del has put together over the past few years, mastering both traditional classics and his own works of original favorites. “Listen Close” is a number that made it to number two on the Sunset International Western Music chart as did the last two of Del’s albums making it to number nine on these charts. These albums are filled with songs you’ll want to hear again and again.
Mark has been branded 'the Cowboy Poet of the Northeast' as his present home is in upstate New York's Adirondack Mountains region. The ranch-hand, descendant of horse-folk, cow-losopher performs regularly at Western events, dude ranches, Cowboy Gatherings, and many Cowboy social venues. Mark reveals "that in my heart, I knew I was meant to be a cowboy. An' while life situations didn't always allow the fate, along the bumpy trail, I did a fair piece of day workin’. I made a hand, biddin' my skills with horses, cows, cowboys, cowgirls, and too many fences.
